Generation Z - a new generation of 21st century, including those born in 2001. This is the first generation to have a great opportunity to use internet when they enter primary schools. Gen Z knows how to use social networks such as Facebook, Youtube, Instagram,... to quickly look for what they want. Because of growing up in the era of digital technology, gen Z in general and freshmen born in 2001 in particular should know how to approach and use technology effectively.
The event "Welcome Freshmen 2019: Generation Z - The master of technology" will provide first-year students with the answers on how to apply technology in studying and solving social problems through a special talk show led by young and influential startup technology speakers.
This event wants to bring useful information to help students solve their problems when applying technology in learning and in their daily lives. Moreover, the talk show will answer many important questions to students such as “What do students need to use technology effectively?”; “What is the role of technology in Generation Z’s life?”, “How to become a global citizen?” and so on.
In addition to that, the event will offer 20 scholarships to 20 students who have outstanding achievements in national high school graduation exam. Also at the event, students will have an invaluable opportunity to meet, discuss and take photos with their beloved online teachers; participate in awesome team-building games. The event: “Welcome Freshmen 2019: Generation Z - The master of technology” will take place from 7:00 am to 11: 30am, September 22 at the Temple of Literature (Van Mieu Quoc Tu Giam). This event will have the participation of more than 25 high school teachers at HOCMAI Education System; 10 representatives from famous universities in Hanoi and more than 500 freshmen nationwide.
“Welcome Freshmen” is one of the annual events of the HOCMAI Education System. This is a special reunion for teachers and first-year students to meet, exchange and discuss about everything in life. This event brings a particular topic such as technology, globalization and many other issues in society, which helps freshmen acquire more knowledge and useful skills to enter universities.
